Cold-Weather Weekend Essentials

The magic bullet for surviving the erratic nature of the next few months? A stockpile of oversized (but never sloppy) layers, mix-and-match textures, and hyper-comfortable accessories —conveniently, all wardrobing concepts that even the most cold-adverse fashionphiles can venture out in!

My go-to cold-weather outfit (outside of the obvious warm but, super cute, jacket) are sweaters! If you've seen any of my last few posts you've seen everything from the dreadfully ugly Christmas sweater to the adorable "holiday-party-worthy" pom-pom sweater! And the sweater I'm wearing here just went to the top of my list!

SWEATER: SHEIN // JEANS: OLD NAVY // BOOTS: ZAPPOS // JACKET: AMERICAN EAGLE // Hat & gloves: old navy

A cross-generational, universally beloved winter boot with serious staying power (50+ years and counting).

Splashes of pattern and texture — chunky, leopard print, and cableknit—for a not-trying-too-hard chic vibe.

And a tried and true leopard print to help stave-0ff loss of body heat while looking incredibly cool.

It's the outfit that says "YES!" when the weather outside tells you no! Just as there’s a nostalgia to pull out those classic, tried-and-true cool weather pieces that always feel new again, I love mixing in new pieces that I know will be forever-welcome winter staples in season to come!
