How did you and Adam meet?

We met in Provo. Adam had just got back from serving a two year mission for our church. I had just graduated from BYU. We ended up in the same apartment complex by accident - seriously, we were both planning to live somewhere else. And the rest is history.

WHERE DID ADAM SERVE HIS MISSION?

Adam served in the Mexico Cuernavaca mission - which is near Mexico City.

What is is like being married to a baseball player?

Sometimes it is really fun and sometimes it is not. I liked Adam before I realized baseball was going to be our life and before I even liked baseball. So our relationship wasn't built around the sport, but it has been a huge part of our relationship - if that makes sense? But to any girl that says, "I have always wanted to marry a baseball player"... girl, you crazy! Being married to an athlete seems like a lot of fun because of the way TV and shows portray it - but it can be really hard. At the collegiate level it is just fun, you aren't apart that much and you get really close with the team and their significant others. At the professional level it is just a rollercoaster. I didn't travel with Adam, so we only saw each other every 6-8 weeks. I worked full time. We lived apart 8 months of the year. That was our path. And it worked. But it was also work. Other girls travel, and I say more power to them because that would have been SO hard for me. Living in a new town with a new team every year, maybe not loving the area, not working - all that. Everyone has their own path. And I am really grateful for baseball and what it brought our lives. The years living apart were definitely hard, but they strengthened us. And now that Adam is in semi-retirement it is a whole new ball game. But baseball will always be a part of our lives. That was a long answer.

WHAT CAMERA DO YOU USE?

Depending on the event we use either the Canon Rebel or the Canon 80D. Usually with a 50mm lens. And if we are indoors for product shoots or videos we use box lights and a ring light.
