Seeing Spots

Brief history lesson: the 'polka', a Czech form of dance, comes from the Polish word for "woman"; in Czech it translates to "little girl". The name "Polka Dot" isn't the only thing that makes them uber feminine. They are the muse of at least one fashion house each year and are also a throwback to classic femininity. And, I've got to admit, these made me feel a little bolder! The cut of this blouse makes me feel a bit like Rosie The Riveter and put a little pep in my step. Paired with this gorgeous brown skirt and these wedges that gave me legs for days, this outfit is definitely one that will be on repeat!

K, these wedges deserve a  moment. Give me anything with an animal print and I instantly feel bold and fearless!

How gorgeous is this faux suede? Catch me in a month and I'll have this same outfit on except I'll swap these nude legs for a pair of thick opaque stockings and some gorgeous knee-high boots!

This outfit has me feeling all the feels and you know I'm going to be busting these wedges out on any day where the temperature hits above 60! I love this outfit for all the obvious reason but I feel like it has a modern timelessness to it that you don't find in a lot of fashion. I'm always on the look out for clothes that stand the test of time and fashion trends and I feel like this one is going to be a keeper.
