Fashion Fits Everyone || Volume 8

Today I have Ember from Budget Splurge Beauty.
She is another one of those women that commented and I knew right away....
I HAD to have her on the Fashion Fits Everyone.

Beauty and fashion are so often seen as solid things with boundaries, rules, and trends. To me, fashion is so fluid. I am a fat girl who doesn't shy away from the word fat. I also don't listen to basically any of the "rules" that fat people are supposed to adhere to.

I believe in wearing what makes you happy, not necessarily what is most "flattering". Crop tops, tight skirts, horizontal stripes, you name it, I wear it. I spent so much of my life avoiding fashion because I thought that was doing everyone a favor. The person it was not doing a favor to was myself, and my confidence. Once I had the epiphany that fat girls deserve respect too, and not to shy away just for their bodies, I started dressing so much better. I developed a sense of style.

My style tends to lean more 'dark' or 'alternative' but I'm also a huge fan of dresses and feminine patterns. Makeup is what pulls my look all together. I love bold makeup, I hate boring makeup. I can be wearing a boring outfit but I will be wearing a colorful smokey eye and a bright red lip to top it off.

I think it's important to acknowledge that fashion fits everyone because there really is a style out there for everyone- you just have to be brave enough to look for it! Fashion isn't just for the people who can fit into the model sizes. It's for everyone, of every shape and size.
