Dear 7 Questions,

Today I will share two back to school pictures with you from high school. Slightly awkward. I look so different. The first one is from junior year and the second one is senior year.

1. It's back to school time! Are YOU going back to school?
I am not going back to school... I am getting married tomorrow! And then after a week of honeymooning bliss... he is going back to school. SUCKER!

2. Speaking of back to school... You receive 10 pts if you can name this movie:
"Back to school, back to school, to prove to Dad that I'm not a fool. I got my lunch packed up, my boots tied tight, I hope I don't get in a fight. Ohhhh! Back to school, back to school."

3. Who did you hang out with in school? Cool kids, jocks, nerds, were you a loner, etc? (all are welcome here- btw)
I hung out with... whoever I felt like. Is that an acceptable answer? If it isn't... then too bad! My close group of friends came from a lot of different "groups". We had a basketball/volleyball player, a drama and vocal diva, an artist, a track star, a working girl, and then me the dancing student council buff. Half of us were Mormon and half of us practiced other religions. Because of that variety we mixed into a lot of groups.

4. What was your favorite subject in school?
I always overloaded my schedule with extra curricular classes like student council, choir, art... you name it I was doing it. So besides all those fun "subjects" my favorite subject was probably English. I always had incredible English teachers that made everything a lot more exciting.

5. If you had to go back and redo one of the following, which would you choose and why? Preschool, Elementary, Middle School, High School, College?
High School. I sort of did whatever I wanted. And I had a lot of fun. And I wish I could just be that carefree now.

6. Home/ Packed Lunch or School Lunch?
Packed lunch. Always a packed lunch. WHERE IS MY SNACK PACK!?

7. What's more exciting? The first day of school or the last day of school?
This is actually a tough one for me. They are exciting for different reasons. Back to school meant seeing everyone that I hadn't seen forever, getting back to dance, and having a real schedule. Last day of school meant a tan, dance competition, and travels. Both are too exciting to say one is more exciting.

There you have it. Back to school. I hope you all have a great year being students and I will just keep being a worker bee.

Love,
Deidre
